Intel Non Volatile Memory (NVM) Process Integration Technologist in Boise, Idaho

Job Description

NVM Flash Technology Development team is looking for highly motivated candidates with technical background to take on the challenge of quickly growing into the role of Process Integration Technologist. Responsibilities will include development of next generation 3D NAND and 3DxP non-volatile memory (NVM) processes integration schemes to support and extend Intel's lead in NVM quality, density, performance, reliability and cost in the growing memory and storage business.

We seek dependable team members to engage stakeholders from our joint development program to deliver next generation leading edge memory products. Successful candidates are expected to work effectively across a diverse community of design, material, product, characterization, and process development teams to develop cost effective integrated technology solutions utilizing formal education and judgment. You will also be expected to design, execute, analyze and implement experiments necessary to meet engineering process definitions and work closely with our high volume manufacturing partners in the US and Asia to transfer and ramp each technology node.

The position is based at the 300mm R&D site in Boise, Idaho, where we have a decade of demonstrated collaborative NVM scaling experience in a fast-paced, friendly and exciting environment with our joint development program (JDP) technology partner, Micron Technology.

The ideal candidate will show interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability of leading and influencing others without positional authority. Also a will be thinking and operating independently, while simultaneously focusing on many diverse priorities.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications: - The candidate must be pursuing a MS or a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering. - 6 months working with device physics in deciphering parametric data. - 6 months working with fundamental integration and yield issues for key modules and critical device parameters. - 6 months working with challenging situations, technical problems and creation of solutions with out-of-box thinking. - 6 months working in process engineering, yield, and product engineering.

Preferred Qualifications: - 6 months working with multicultural teams.- 6 months working with stakeholders. - 6 months working with multiple projects at once.
