Job Description

Intel’s Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is hiring a new Manufacturing Project Manager to help ensure that manufacturing goals, outputs, and standards are met.This is a Project Management that focuses on manufacturing.This position is responsible for the optimization of schedules, costs, capacity, quality, and cycle times for SSD product lines.


Required Skills/Experience (Must Have)

  • Undergraduate Degree in an Engineering or related field

  • Prior experience (6+ years wiht a Bachelor Degree OR 4+ years wiht a Masters Degree) experience in managing subcons

  • Experience working with cross geography sites in China and/or Taiwan

  • Good structured problem solving skills with experience using tools (example: 6-Step or 7-Step problem solving methods)

  • Component Manufacturing knowledge of Assembly and Test high (example: Wire Bonding, Die Attach, Die Stacking, Post Electrical, Flip Chip, ATE, Burn-in, and other A/T technologies)

  • Some travel is required

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Masters Degree in Engineering or related field

  • Systems Manufacturing Knowledge and Experience is highly desired in areas such as SMT, Automated Assembly, System Manufacturing Test, ICT, AOI, X-Ray, Thermal Assembly, etc.

  • OSAT & ODM and/or related outsourced manufacturing

  • Manufacturing knowledge and experience in areas such Cost Optimizations, Cycle Time efficiency, Capacity Analysis, Factory efficiency, LEAN, Six Sigma, and other manufacturing methodologies

  • Supply Chain Knowledge and experience in areas and techniques such as BTO, CTO, BTS, Inventory Levels, JIT, VMI, etc

  • Good communications skills including in English, Mandarin, and Chinese both written and verbal
