Intel System QnR Development engineer in Folsom, California

Job Description

The candidate will join NSG Quality & Reliability team for product development engineering and qualification support of NSG's high performance, revolutionary NAND & Solid State Drives.

The primary responsibility is to identify and assist in product qualification, parametric data analysis, tracking of failures and assisting product engineering team.

Candidate will identify fail modes, complete electrical FA on module and components to understand the root cause and provide containment and fixes. He/she will use appropriate tools such as bench testers, oscilloscope, logic analyzer and other test systems to do drive level failure analysis and debug.

  • Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished material or product.

  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.

  • Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment, conducts quality assurance tests, and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of, and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control, and/or research and development as they apply to quality control.

  • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.

  • Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Materials Science.

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience in product development engineering and/or reliability analysis of silicon products
