The Business HR Organizational Effectiveness Practitioner Manager OEPM will report to HR Director and will have three primary responsibilities:
People Manager of approximately 8-10 Organization Effectiveness (OE), Learning & Leadership, and Talent & Diversity resources
Organizational Effectiveness practitioner project work
Drive standards and process improvements in the OE community.
The OEPM will be responsible for ensuring the OE work called out in the HR business plan is delivered in service of the business in partnership with the HR Manager
Among the OE Manager's responsibilities:
Tight partnership and collaboration with the HR Managers to align on business priorities, resource assignments and status on assigned work
Drive capability building across OE partners for continuous performance improvement
Use deep business acumen to provide context and coaching to direct reports
Engage with business leaders on an as needed basis on practitioner work and deliver on priorities called out in HR Business Plan
Recommend holistic solutions and deploy the right resources to help define and implement start-up, continuous improvement or transformative initiatives
Lead project teams in assessing and designing organizations for optimal performance
Champion organizational experimentation and innovation
Maintain close partnership with peer OE/EE Managers for effective & efficient support of each community and business group
Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field
7-10 years related experience, or an M.B.A, Master of Science degree or a Master of Arts degree with 5+ years related experience
Current experience with the above responsibilities and the following capabilities:
Excellent organizational effectiveness skills with demonstrated application of above capabilities
Excellent contracting and stakeholder management skills across management levels.
Experience working with senior management, experience with executives is an advantage.
Proven personal leadership skills and experience.
Ability to read the subtle nuances of a situation and react/plan accordingly.

Understand how things work internally - from the interconnected political, social, and information networks to the processes, structures and other capabilities that shape how things work, or don't work, to enable success.
Organizational Assessment: Use a variety of methods to gather and analyze data within the organization. Know how to design and structure an organizational assessment that fits the situation and scope of the transformation challenge research, exploration, education, hypothesis formation. Ability to differentiate between symptoms and root causes.
Organizational System Architecture: Translate the strategic goals of the business into capabilities that the organization must have and then put the puzzle pieces together to maximize the organization's likelihood of achieving its goals. Understand the inter-relatedness of all pieces of the system and how they must work together to produce the desired results.
Synthesizing Information: Integrate information into a clear, focused plan of action for our clients. Able to discern patterns and connections in information and to leverage in assessment and design work. Influence: Identify and address the barriers to executing key initiatives.
