Job Description

Provide Facilities engineering leadership to the Virtual Factory Network for process technology transfers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental and Cost objectives. Own safety within area of influence. Ensure systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or environmental excursions, own system documentation and maintenance strategy. Support Facilities technology & development for the virtual factory network. Provide direct support and maintain periodic communication with key suppliers to ensure latest and most cost effective solutions are and technical accuracy is maintained in master specifications and standards. Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with safety, code, and Intel standards as well as study opportunities to reduce cost and improve schedule. Provide transfer Support to FSM facilities converting to new process technologies & ongoing technical guidance to FSM sustaining facility teams to maintain and improve factory operations

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

-3+ years of related experience in large-scale manufacturing / mechanical facility systems design, construction, and operations HVAC, Fire Protection, Process Mechanical and Exhaust

Preferred:

-Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

-Experience with Statistical Process control

-Experience in design, construction, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment pumps, piping, valves, HVAC, exhaust, scrubbers, etc. and familiarity with process control instrumentation, PID control, SCADA, in an industrial environment.

-Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment desirable

-Ability to work shutdowns and other shifts as needed to support production

-Experience partnering with technicians on maintenance management, non-standard work, and troubleshooting

-Commitment to continuous improvement of system documentation, training packages, and training of other engineers and technicians

-Expert knowledge of codes and standards of mechanical engineering

-Proficient in reading and interpreting construction contract documents

-Ability to function effectively in a team environment composed of both technical and management personnel to resolve issues quickly and economically

-Ability to work and adapt in a rapidly changing environment with minimal supervision
