Job Description

Come intern with Intel's Circuit Research Lab, investigating and develop new circuit techniques for high-performance datapath and on-chip interconnect circuits to enable low-voltage, energy-efficient neuromorphic circuit designs

Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements.

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Exploratory research as well as modeling, simulation, and design.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Desire to advance the state of the art in energy-efficient

  • High-performance digital circuit design.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be pursuing a Master or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field

Minimum of 6 months experience in the following areas:

• Neuromorphic computing

• Develop algorithm optimization

• High-performance, energy-efficient and low-power circuit design

• Digital circuit design and RTL development

• Testing variability of circuits

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Industry-standard circuit design and simulation tools.

• Digital Circuit design, DSP, arithmetic/data-path, on-chip interconnects, low-voltage circuits
