Job Description

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a Master's or PhD level student in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a focus on one or more of RF, EM, or mm Wave subjects

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in the following areas:

  • One or more of the following simulation tools: HFSS, CST, ADS, or Matlab

  • One or more of the following test and measurement equipment: Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, power meters

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with PCB design processes

Experience with one or more advanced technology areas in 5G such as RF filters or mm Wave design at the component or system level

Knowledge or prior experience in nano fabrication

Come join Intel as an intern in our Platform Interference Technology team. This is an advanced wireless research team within the Wireless Communications Research organization in Intel Labs. This position focuses on research and development of next generation wireless technologies 5G and may include working in the areas of mm Wave communications, sub 6GHz front end module technology development and other leading edge topics.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements:

The responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Theoretical analysis, technology development, simulation at the physical component and/or system-level, as well as prototype design, fabrication, and measurement characterization related activities.

• Innovative thinker, well-versed in one or more of the following: antenna design, filter design, simulation of electromagnetic fields, or RF system design.

• Present research results to your peer group
