Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to be part of the Media Sofware group. Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop software for various products including PCs, mobile form factors and connected home using both Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Recommend new ideas with Intel relevance and market data

  • Think beyond current tactical execution for next-gen improvements and new ideas/IPs that feed into TR/PoC and product

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have Master’s or PhD degree in Computer science or related field.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the following fields:

o As software engineer in Multimedia vide/graphics

o Camera-imaging, audio, speech

o Machine Learning-ML, Deep Learning-DL

o Video and Audio Analytics.

  • Minimum 3 months experience in:

o Defining value-proposition, use case and flows, algorithms for analytics/ML/DL, and conduct rapid prototyping to prove the algorithm value-proposition in compelling use cases is critical.

o Past prototyping, defining state-of-the-art algorithm followed by a product quality implementation intercepting a product

o Developing code that is testable with discipline using sound coding practices, publishing integration and test plan collateral, conduct unit testing e.g. CUnit or NUnit, conducting code reviews, running ProtexIP/Klocwork

o Software development in C and C+ o debugging/resolving issues together with the customer to achieve end-product quality.

o Development in Linux and Windows 10 environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise/experience in SVM, decision trees, Caffe, TensorFlow, and statistical data analytic methods are a big plus.

  • Experience working on Smart / Connected Home is a big plus.
