The Window OS WOS Developer Tools and Runtimes team is searching for an energetic and passionate software engineer to join the Web Runtimes team!

In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn, grow and excel! You will be participate in an innovative project and work on cutting edge technologies that will utilize some of the latest Intel technologies and help us shape the future.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team enabling and optimizing Windows browser/JavaScript engine technologies and features for the latest Intel Architecture. A key aspect will include the ability to perform software performance analysis, root cause issues and resolve bugs.

Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role.

Some of the job responsibilities involve:

  • Working hand-in-hand with a group of experienced engineers to extend the Intel platform value in development tools and web runtimes

-Influence/drive architecture and product intercept on Intel products

-Reviewing and enabling processor and platform features for core managed runtime and web runtimes

-Carry out competitive performance analysis, root causing and bug resolution including customer bugs.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a Master's Degree in Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum 6 months experience in:

· Software Development in C and/or C++, Python, Java or other high level language

· Data Structures and algorithms

Preferred Qualifications:

· Computer architecture and micro

· Architecture Intel x86/Intel x64 Core and/or Atom preferred

· ASM programming.

· Hands on software debug and performance analysis

· Experience in one or more core technologies such as tools, architecture, .NET Framework, development stacks such as storage, networking etc., and web run-time.
