Job Description

Manages the solution or appliance delivery functions in collaboration with Product Managers to ensure engineering and operational aspects related to delivering a successful product to our customers/partners are met. Responsible for operational deliverables required for successful product. Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple sub-projects, teams, and stakeholders. Has decision making authority at the program level. Handles cross organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity or of broad scope and moderate complexity usually managing a core team that manages functionally specific teams. Leads the core team and guides performance of engineering, validation and operational teams. Leads the core team within Solutions Delivery organization and provides operations guidance for engineering, validation and other teams. Is the key interface for Solutions Delivery organization with product management, engineering and other stakeholder teams. Assigns overall tasks to others managing general areas of responsibility in support of program goals. Exercises judgment and discretion to develops solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches. Oversees identification of tasks and research, dependencies, costs assigns resources, and communicates expectations to core team members. Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule. Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of appliance or solution launch goals. Ensures that quality standards and budget constraints are met. Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate. Prioritizes utilization of resources with other functions. Has advanced understanding of the technical concepts HW/SW, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with the defined program, and utilizes knowledge to accelerate project completion.

Qualifications

BS with 9+ years of experience or MS with 6+ years of experience

Organized and self-driven, strong problem solver orientation

Experience managing the product lifecycle, from inception through the transition from engineering to volume manufacturing.

Success in delivering complete solutions hardware, software and networking projects at various scales and complexity to customers and supply chain

Experience at datacenter solution/appliance level required

Demonstrated experience driving relationship with customers and stakeholder management required

3-5 years of experience in Program Management

Demonstrated understanding of the HPC and Cloud Markets, HPC Platforms and Cloud Infrastructure.

3-5 years' experience in a systems integrator, ODM or OEM

Understand Open Source software and OpenStack solutions.

Knowledge of Intel Architecture and technologies e.g. Xeon PHI, Xeon, networking, switching, VT-x, DPDK
