Responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the role, U.S. experience and education requirements. Job assignments may be for the summer or for short periods throughout the school year.
You must possess at least some of the minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Experience listed below could be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Minimum 3 months experience with Linux programming
Minimum 3 months experience building software from source using make or cmake
Minimum 3 months experience with Open Source Tools, e.g. Git, Javadoc, Doxygen, SWIG
Must have unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring Sponsorship.
Knowledge of low-level I/O protocols such as I2C, UART, PWM
Hobbyist/maker experience or prior exposure to IoT platforms e.g. Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Intel Galileo/Edison or other microcontrollers
