Come join Intel as an Intern in our Quality & Reliability laboratory which is part of Corporate Quality Network. Our team is responsible for determining the voltage and temperature use conditions for the CPU and system-on-a-chip SoC products that go into Intel's next generation platforms. CQN strives to lead the industry moving forward through product innovation and world class engineering. We are a nimble, high-output team who works well together and have fun doing hard work. In this position, the candidate will be interning with the Time-in-State Voltage and temperature data collection teams focusing on new CPU and SoC products used in industrial robots fabrication and drones.

The candidate will be engaged in activities ranging from:

-Test and collect data using new voltage/temperature tools for different workloads used by Industrial robots and drones.

-Perform voltage, power and temperature analysis.

-Validating different methodologies to measure transistor toggling in different areas of the CPU/SoC -Scripting in Excel or Visual Basic to analyze data.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.

Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship

Minimum of:

• 3 months of experience in electrical measurements of computer boards.

• 3 months of experience in install/ debug Linux.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency of Microsoft suite of products especially Excel.
