Intel RF Validation Engineer in Phoenix, Arizona
RF Engineers are responsible for RF topology selection and design, RF system analysis, RF system block characterization and specification. In addition, RF engineers operate radio frequency test equipment and are responsible for the design of RF circuits per specifications, simulations and analysis of RF circuits, understanding of analog circuits, characterization of board of chip layout requirements.
Minimum Qualifications: BSEE with experience in RF Theory and Measurement Techniques. 5+ years of experience with RF Silicon Circuit or Product Validation. 5+ years of experience in Developing and Documenting Test Procedures for RF/Millimeter Silicon or Product Validation in the 2 to 10 GHz range.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PCB Design, System Bring Up, Integration, and Development of new RF Product. In depth theoretical and practical knowledge on Receivers, Transmitters, and Synthesizers. Able to model and predict overall RF System Performance based on Transceiver and RFFE Specifications. Demonstrated ability in modeling tools such as Matlab, ADS, and HFSS. Knowledgeable in Digital Communication Theory and its practical implementation in Modern RF Systems. Has developed tests in tools such as LabView, C. Experience with communications systems such as 2G/3G/LTE Cellular, WiFi, BT, or GNSS. Good verbal and written communication skills and a highly disciplined approach to problem solving.
