Intel Modem Power Engineer in San Diego, California
The candidate for this position is expected to optimize power in the Intel Modem for 2G/3G/4G LTE PHY layer. The Modem power Engineer is expected to have a good understanding of 2G/3G/4G LTE PHY layer, and its interface to the digital baseband modem.
The applicant must have ability to optimize power for modem PHY of Intel mobile platforms. The assigned tasks involve implementation of power drivers and coordinating teams with in the modem to make timely deliverables to customer.
The tasks also involve working with firmware engineers to deliver robust solutions in our modem products. The candidate for this position is also expected to support verification teams, analyze the logs from the Lab / field tests and support the modem team for delivering high quality modem products that exceed our customers' high expectations.
Ph.D. EE + 3 years or MSEE + 5 years of relevant work experience
- 3+ years of experience in Optimizing SOC Platforms for Power and Commercialization.
Good verbal and written skills to support teamwork in project groups.
Ability to thrive in an innovative, dynamic, and modem product oriented team.
Dedicated, result oriented professional with an attitude for getting the job done.
