Job Description

The Director, FPGA Portfolio Marketing will lead a team responsible for driving marketing objectives and strategy for the Programmable Solutions Group PSG portfolio of products. The team will define product value propositions in key markets, position products within the overall portfolio of Intel products, and lead PSG marketing campaigns. The successful candidate must have the ability to enable product success through partnering with internal organizations across intel in support of the overall marketing strategy. Responsibilities will also include building and strengthening a high-performance organization through leadership development. The Programmable Solutions Group PSG was formed from the acquisition of Altera. As part of Intel, PSG will create market-leading programmable logic devices that deliver a wider range of capabilities than customers experience today. Combining Altera's industry-leading FPGA technology and customer support with Intel's world-class semiconductor manufacturing capabilities will enable customers to create the next generation of electronic systems with unmatched performance and power efficiency. Qualifications

The successful candidate's minimum qualifications will include the following: BSEE or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience. A minimum of 5 years of team management experience. Extensive value proposition and messaging experience. Strategic thinking with a proven track record of delivering business, marketing and/or product innovation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with interaction at multiple levels within organizations and across a variety of job functions.
