Come intern with our Automated Driving group ADG within the Internet of things were we strive to demonstrate Intel’s capabilities and thought leadership in the field of Autonomous Driving.
The employees of the Automated Driving group ADG are responsible of working with partners in Silicon Valley to showcase Intel’s technical and product and thought leadership in building the best solution for autonomous driving spanning car to connectivity to cloud.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Working with mechanical engineers to successfully install, operate, and evaluate the sensors and other hardware in the cars required to run proof of concepts in the Intel Silicon Valley Innovation labs.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Candidate must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
Minimum of 3 months experience with:
• Machine Learning as it applies to self-driving vehicles
• Mechanical engineering problems such as Robotics, application of sensors
• Software programming skills especially writing algorithms in the context of sensor fusion
