Intel PEY Software Engineer in San Jose, California

Job Description

In this position, the selected PEY will design and implement and deliver software to enable rapid development and deployment of high quality IP for FPGA products.

Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Swift and efficient design and implementation of software tools that help solve the complex problems faced by teams of engineers who are responsible for the design, verification and deployment of heavily parameterized IP.

  • Develop robust software applications to effectively harness and analyze large and complex engineering data sets. These applications must provide meaningful visualization to solve difficult engineering problems, drive quality and enable efficient project execution.

  • Design, develop and integrate simple to use, top to bottom IP testing solution covering test generation, design correctness, coverage and result reporting.

You will have the opportunity to work with experienced senior software engineers in the team who will provide technical coaching to help you develop software tools in the most efficient way possible using industrial standard, state of the art programming languages and tools.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in computer Science, mathematics or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 months experience with:

• Programming languages including: Java, C, C+, Perl, Python

• Machine Learning algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

-Web Development experience

-Data Mining concepts
