Intel Senior IP Development Engineer in San Jose, California
In this position, the selected candidate will develop and verify IPs for compute acceleration. You will be responsible for development of exciting IPs in computational algorithms, libraries and applications. The development involves implementing highly re-usable/flexible IPs in OpenCL/HLS high-level-synthesis/RTL and verifying IPs thoroughly in emulation/hardware. You will also be responsible for IP integration and implementation of verification infrastructure. In the development cycle, you will implement IPs that accelerates data center applications. You will optimize the IPs for re-usability / flexibility / performance and power. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and good team player. You will work with a team of experienced FPGA engineers, learn about the latest hottest data center applications and use state of the art FPGA hardware/tools to accelerate computing. Job Responsibilities:-Develop firmware driver and integrate driver into accelerator software stack-Design accelerator logic in SystemVerilog, SystemC, C/C++ HLS, OpenCL-Map FPGA resources to design and perform timing closure-Document design for SW/CSR interface, Design Spec and User guide-Perform initial verification on both driver and hardware-Work closely with verification team on test plan-Bring up IPs software/hardware co-simulation-Bring up IPs in FPGA acceleration platform-Identify and fix design bottleneck through performance measurement and benchmarking
BS/MS in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in relevant subject.
Hand-on experience in software distribution and installation.
Hand-on experience in C/C++Hand-on experience in all C, SystemVerilog, SystemC, HLS.
Hand-on experience in FPGA design.
Experience with C-to-Silicon and OpenCL is a plus.
Experience in FPGA/Embedded system is a plusGood in linear algebra, compiler, machine learning algorithm Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and good team player
