Job Description

Intel's Programmable Solutions Group is looking for a motivated highly accomplished individual team to lead a silicon design SI/PI team. What you'll do: Lead and manage a team of 6 engineers to analyze signal and power integrity issues for FPGA designs. Work with high speed SERDES transceiver and multi-standard IO teams to deliver signal integrity analysis, to ensure correct functionality of the device. Work with power teams to analyze power integrity Work with platform and packaging teams to align on design assumptions and constraintsLead methodology development for SI/PI, align on best practices with other Intel teamsParticipate in Intel and Industry events to keep up with the latest developments in the industry and bring those learnings into practice within a world class engineering teamPrincipal Engineers at Intel are active technical leaders inside and outside the company. Activities include participation in major industry and academic conferences, voting membership in international standards committees, generation of patents and technical papers.

Qualifications

15yrs+ leadership of SI/PIStrong academic background in SI/PI or related fields. PhD preferred.Track record of delivering silicon products with challenging SI/PI requirements.Detailed electrical knowledge of industry standard parallel interfaces, such as DDR. Knowledge of high speed SERDES standards.Experience of 2.5 and/or 3D packaging technologiesDemonstrated ability in leading and managing teamsExperience of working cross functionally across organization and company boundariesAbility to manage and motivate engineers to achieve excellence. Demonstrated participation at industry level through papers, conferences and standards bodies
