As a Xeon+FPGA validation engineer, you will have an integral role in designing and delivering innovative Xeon+FPGA accelerator architectures with rich feature sets to deliver higher levels of performance, energy-efficiency and value that form the computing backbone of the connected world.In this position, you will be a member of the platform validation team in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group PSG.You will be responsible for verifying the FPGA platform logic connected to Xeon processors, targeting server-oriented computing products.Team's deliverables include:Verifying of Xeon+FPGA features in simulation test environmentsVerifying designs by: o Authoring test plans o Creating templates defining coverage strategies o Developing and analyzing coverage monitors o Creating event injectors o Writing architectural and micro-architectural correctness checkers o Developing BFMs Bus Functional Model o Running functional simulations o Debugging failures to root causeMaintaining and enhancing the verification infrastructure by creating new tools to support validation.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following behaviors:Strong track record of taking initiative and drive projects to completionStrong communication skills and ability to influence and work across large teams
BS or MS in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering - 10+ years of hands-on experience and a track-record of success in logic verification. 5 years of experience of SV OVM/UVM. 5 years of experience of verification architecture and infrastructure. 3 years of experience computer architecture. 3 years of experience with I/O protocols including PCIe, Ethernet, and memory interconnect technologies.
