Intel Analog Design and Validation Engineer in Santa Clara, California
The Analog Design & Validation Engineer designs, modifies, evaluates and validate complex analog and mixed signal electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for analog and mixed signal electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
Job duties include (but are not limited to):
Complete in depth silicon validation of designed parts, identify, failure analysis, and resolve component design issues at transistor and chip level.
Work closely with design, technology and product engineering teams to resolve silicon design issues.
Determine creative design approaches and parameters.
Analyze equipment to establish operating data.
Conduct experimental tests and evaluates results.
Applie and use independent evaluation to selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
Evaluate practical capability of vendor to support product development. Also includes Analog, Mixed-Signal and RF Development Engineers with specialized skills and expertise in developing Monolithic Integrated Circuits for wireless and wireline communications systems and products using CMOS Process technologies.
Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have):
Bachelor or Masters's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline plus prior of experience with analog/mix signal design work experiences with focus in memory design (4+ years of experience wiht a Bachelor degree OR 3+ years of experience with a Masters Degree).
Prior experience with CMOS digital, analog, and I/O circuit design, with knowledge of device physics and silicon processing,
Experience with transistor-level circuit simulation tools SPICE
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Experience with both pre-silicon design and post-silicon validation experience with knowledge of oscilloscope, tester operation, uprobe skill at wafer leve lis highly preferred
Prior experience in UNIX and programming C++, Perl, Python,
experience in project work using device modeling Hsim, Ultrasim.
Experience in data extractions using JMP tool
