Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Establish and drive effective product management practices and methods for the organization.

  • Build and manage a team of Product Owners & Analysts.

  • Define the prioritization of product development initiatives according to stakeholder needs, balanced by an understanding of industry and consumer trends.

  • Develop PRD documentation to support wireframing and designing end user-facing analytics products.

  • Communicate and refine requirements with the development team, and successfully guide product design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations by rigorously delivering on product design deliverables according to project milestones and release schedules.

  • Work with multiple reporting data sets and answer complex questions about wearable engagement & retention.

Who You Are

  • You are a seasoned product manager with relevant experience building products and solutions for customers, ideally in the data and analytics space.

  • You have led a team of product managers, ideally across multiple locations.

  • Passion for simple and effective communication of complex concepts using supporting data.

  • Examples of attractive and effective data visualizations.

  • Experience with Tableau or Qlikview is a definite advantage.

  • Must be resourceful, proactive and aggressive.

  • Comfortable owning and driving projects from vision, details, and project/schedule perspective.

  • Practical knowledge of software design concepts, strategies, and methodologies.

  • Creative skills, from brainstorming new product ideas to producing attractive wireframes/UI concepts.

  • Proficient at conveying design and business requirements using various methods such as functional requirements, use cases, needs analysis, storyboards, mockups, flow charts, diagrams, etc.

  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL is a plus.

  • Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of urgency - start-up experience a plus.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity.Exceptional written and oral communication skills required.
