Intel Research Scientist in Santa Clara, California
Intel Labs is seeking a motivated Research Scientist in the area of visual computing. This is a full-time role with the Visual Computing Lab.This position will be responsible for conceiving, researching, and prototyping new visual computing techniques. This role will utilize knowledge of mathematical and algorithmic techniques to identify and research promising technologies. This requires a good understanding of state-of-the-art techniques in visual computing. The incumbent is expected to maintain substantial knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories, and contribute regularly to scientific literature and the research community at large.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
The candidate must have a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields of study.
At least three publications in peer-reviewed international conferences.
1+ year's experience in engineering and mathematics.
