Fab Sort Manufacturing: Fab Sort Manufacturing, FSM, is a worldwide organization that optimizes, ramps, and delivers state of the art Intel Architecture and Memory manufacturing processes and products. Within FSM, F11x, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, has a unique charter to not only deliver high volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop NAND flash, Intel OptaneTM, and Silicon Photonics technologies.

F11x is looking for an experienced Process Integration Technology Development/Manufacturing group leader to lead the path finding, development, and deliver Memory, and Silicon Photonics, technologies along with the manufacturing and ramp of their respective products.

As a manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Defines the road maps to meet requirements, milestones, and goals for process technologies.

  • Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity matters.

  • Be unafraid to dive deep into understanding technical details of integrated process flows and lead problem solving efforts if/when needed.

  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Process Flow interactions including Device Physics, Fab Processing, Process Development and Model Based Problem Solving.

  • Define and establish flow, procedures, and help in defining equipment configurations for the modules.

  • Plan and conduct experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle.

  • Drive improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel.

  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem solving tools.

  • Establish process control systems for the process module and sustain the module through volume ramp.

  • Train production/receiving process engineers, engineering and manufacturing technicians for transfer to other factories.

  • Be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and working hours to support business needs.


Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD/Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics

  • Minimum 10 years of hands on experience in semiconductor FAB processing.

  • 5+ years of experience in Process Integration or Process development.


  • At least 5 years of direct experience with leading and managing teams is preferable.
