Fab Sort Manufacturing: Fab Sort Manufacturing, FSM, is a worldwide organization that optimizes, ramps, and delivers state of the art Intel Architecture and Memory manufacturing processes and products. Within FSM, F11x, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, has a unique charter to not only deliver high volume manufacturing products but additionally design and develop new technologies directly tied to Intel's Data Centric growth products on NAND flash, Intel OptaneTM, and Photonics.

F11x is looking for an experienced Chemical Mechanical Polish (aka Planar) Technology Development/Manufacturing Group Leader to lead the path finding, development, and deliver Memory, and Silicon Photonics technologies along with the manufacturing and ramp of their respective products. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of delivering leading edge process capability and demonstrated collaboration with cross-functional/cross-company teams including equipment and material vendors.

  • Be unafraid to dive deep into understanding technical details of Chemical Mechanical Polish and lead problem solving efforts if/when needed.

  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Chemical Mechanical Polish fundamentals including

  • Have a track record of innovation and invention in the area of Chemical Mechanical Polish process, equipment and materials, working in a fab and integrated chip process development

  • Define and establish flow, procedures, and equipment configuration for the module.

  • Plan and conduct experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle.

  • Drive improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment, and operating personnel.

  • Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem solving tools.

  • Establish process control systems for the process module and sustain the module through volume ramp.

  • Train production/receiving process engineers, engineering and manufacturing technicians for transfer to other factories.

  • Have a track record of tool install and fab startup activities for AMAT and Ebarra planarization tool sets.

  • Be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and working hours to support business needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD/Masters Degree in Chemical Mechanical Polishing, Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or Chemistry.

  • Minimum 10 years of hands on experience in semiconductor FAB processing.

  • 5+ years of experience in Chemical Mechanical Polish process development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of direct experience with leading and managing teams is preferable.
