Intel FX11 Manufacturing Technician in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment’s, process and training. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way and for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, will also be responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.
In this position, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and repairing specialized processing equipment in a clean room environment and maintain high-volume output without compromising safety or quality. You will also be responsible for wafer processing, troubleshooting, and other duties as required supporting Fab objectives. You will be expected to work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem solving techniques and communication skills. You may be responsible for training and certification of others and in generating and/or updating training materials. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
•Must have a technical Associate's or equivalent to military experience or a BA/BS degree.

•Candidate must willing to lift up to 25 lbs., and spend the majority of time (>90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, processing WIP, walking long distances, and/or standing/sitting for extended periods of time.
•Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.
