Intel MIT PIC Engineer in Albuquerque, New Mexico
This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
The successful candidate will be working in the following:
Integrating, testing, installing configures, and/or supports Factory automation software systems. Coordinates factory requirements, maps them to automation systems capabilities, and recommends technical solutions. Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems. Drives continuous improvement efforts to meet automation systems health goals, as well as emerging capability needs. Serves as site expert for a designated set of automation systems, including representing integrated needs in cross-functional and cross-site teams. Position may include some software development of related enhancements, supplemental systems, and/or support and monitoring tools.
Candidate must be willing to work in a 24 x 7 high availability automation environment and requires rotating On-Call support outside of normal business hours. Job may require the PIC Engineer to flex his/her Shift One hours to align with in-fab passdown communication, tool installs, and process Startup.

The candidate must have demonstrated problem solving skills, model based problem solving a plus. Lean six sigma methods would also be an advantage. Takes initiative, able to 'think outside the box' and develops ideas into solutions
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must have a Bachelor or Masters of Science/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems or Electronic Engineering or an equivalent

Factory Business Acumen with a proven track record of working successfully with customers.
Understanding of ITIL processes and process mapping skills
Data extraction analysis including SQL query writing for Oracle and Microsoft databases.
Ability to lead taskforces and projects within organization and with Customers
Factory Automation System Knowledge - CLUI, FSUI, EN/OpsView, EP, SPC, MES, AMHS, Factory Station Controllers
