Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Center Group (DCG) as a BIOS Engineer.

The Data Center Group (DCG) drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power nine of every 10 servers sold worldwide.

In this position you will gain invaluable experience which will allow growth and expanded opportunities within this business group as well as future possible opportunities with other business groups within Intel.

In this role you will-

Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors.

Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets.

Work closely with Intel silicon design and architecture teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

3 plus years’ experience/Skills in following:

  • Programming experience in Python Scripting

  • Programming experience in C/C++ Object oriented programming

  • Debug experience

  • Knowledge of computer architecture memory, PCie, SMBUS

  • Experience working in UEFI FW / BIOS programming
