Intel Graphics SW Engineer in Austin, Texas
As a Graphics Software engineer you’ll be responsible for developing multiple aspects of graphics software including strong contribution to Ray tracing solutions.
You’ll works with various partners to enhance and improve rendering performance on upcoming processors or graphics devices by analyzing performance issues in software libraries and applications, implementing software performance improvements, and recommending future hardware & software improvements.
Also you’ll responsible for providing internal and external feedback to implement upcoming graphics features in yet-to-be released OSes to ensure our hardware and software will function and perform as expected on next generation platforms as well as designing/developing/implementing graphics system level software for future platforms.
This position involves work on a U.S. Government contract which may impose certain security requirements: If you are a U.S. citizen, the government may require that you certify that you are a U.S. citizen. If you are not a U.S. citizen, the government may require you to pass a security check before you can be approved to work on the project.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science with an emphasis on computer graphics.
3 plus years of experience in C++ development including templates and C++ 11 constructs.
At least 1 published paper on graphics rendering with ray tracing algorithms at SIGGRAPH, IEEE VIS, EUROVIS, HPG or other graphics focused international conference.
3 plus years of experience in ray traced rendering focused projects with demonstrateable expert knowledge of the field.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in OpenGL and DirectX.
