Job Description

Come join Intel's Product Architecture Group organization as a SoC Performance Architect located in Austin, TX. The team is responsible for architectural exploration, evaluation of design alternatives, performance projections, Power/Performance PnP trade-offs, and performance validation for mobile SoC products. It involves using state of the art simulation and technology to make sure future mobile SoCs deliver industry leading performance/power. You will be working on the architecture definition and performance analysis of current and future SoCs. This role will require close cooperation with the architects, performance validation, software, emulation, designer, as well as post-silicon and power teams.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a MS or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of experience on SoC/Computer Architecture, performance, or power.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with hardware, software design and debug skills

  • Experience in architecture or performance analysis of multi-media IPs-Experience on C/C++ performance modeling, RTL Design or Design Validation tools, methodologies and automation.

  • Experience with performance scenarios/use cases and KPI/workloads
