Intel Pre-Si CPU Verification Engineer in Austin, Texas
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for validating the functionality of CPU clusters of the Atom Microprocessor, developing the verification testbench, test plans, tests, coverage monitors/assertions and infrastructure. The candidate will debug failing tests in cluster/unit level testbench environment, then work with designers and architects to resolve bugs.
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of experience OR a MS with 3+ years of experience in microprocessor validation including focused experience in the area of out-of-order execution.
CPU micro-architecture working knowledge in areas such as out-of-order execution, processor pipelines, Memory load and store, Cache Coherency, Paging etc
Experience of PreSi System Verilog RTL verification flow and environments, including test writing, checkers, monitors, emulators, test plans, constrained-random environment and coverage.
Experience with System Verilog test bench, OVM, hardware modeling, SV Assertions and C/C++ Proficiency in independent debug of System Verilog RTL failures to root-cause functional bugs.
