Job Description

The Dell SMG Administrative Partner role performs various administrative and project related activities in support of three field sales managers based on Austin, Texas on the Dell Account for SMG.

Typical duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Regular correspondence using current office software applications creating and sustaining systems for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of confidential information

  • Schedules and coordinates logistics for meetings and events

  • Organizes and manages calendar schedules for manager and/or department

  • Makes travel arrangements and prepares expense reports

  • Maintains office supplies

  • Manages departmental recognition

  • Tacks headcount and spending

  • Serves as an information resource/communication channel for policies and procedures

  • A resource for office related software applications

Duties may also include:

  • Execution of research, data analysis, and preparing reports/recommendations

  • Copies, collates, sorts and distributes materials

  • Assignments are complex and diversified in nature and require working within a globally dispersed team

  • Work performed within generally defined parameters

  • Judgment and decision making ability is required in resolving moderately complex problems

  • Strong team work with the extended team in the field sales office including the current administrative partner team is also critical to manage the work and facilitate a positive team environment

  • Scheduling and coordinating large meetings and events between internal and external attendees and working closely with the Customer administrative team to facilitate tight executive connections

  • Assisting with site responsibilities: helping to order and replenish supplies accepting and processing onsite deliveries ordering and setting up catering for onsite and offsite meetings and assisting with team events

Qualifications

  • High school diploma

  • At least 5 years relevant administrative support experience
