Intel Technical Marketing Engineer in Austin, Texas

Job Description

Assists in providing technical support for one or many product(s) and/or product family.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Participating in new product development, representing the customer’s technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing and presenting technical product training materials.

  • Works with the sales team to help resolve customers technical questions, participates in customers visits, and presentations.

  • Owns creation and maintenance of data sheets and application notes. Individuals act as technical experts, consultants, analysts, and program managers.

  • Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Must be willing to travel to customer site in Austin and Eau Clair Wisconsin or transfer customer design to Intel Lab for debug. Willingness to train and/or mentor other team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent with 6+ years of industry experience

  • 6+ years of experience in the following areas-

  • IA Debug Experience with platform ingredients SPS, BKC, IFWI, etc,

  • Customer Reference Boards, Debug tools JTAG, Python, AFD, Crash Logs, Crash Dumps.

  • Able to determine the failure signature after analyzing the log file down to the lowest level in IA silicon. i.e.- Cache Line, MMIO address/data.

  • In depth knowledge with the HSIO functionality USB3.x, PCIE, Ethernet, SATA, SSD.

  • 6+years years of experience in the electronics industry specifically IA system designs and debug.
