Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Technical Account Manager (TAM)

We are happy to announce that Intel Programmable Solutions Group is in search of a talented Technical Account Manager. As Technical Account Manager for PSG, a typical day might include the following: Cultivating and developing C-level and V-level relationships. Identifying, and evaluating, potential high-priority opportunities. Building, and executing, sales strategies to proactively position, and win, targeted business opportunities. Leading sales, marketing, Intel partners, and technical support teams through a winning sales campaign. Developing, and executing, a territory plan, account plans, and opportunity plans to maximize revenue growth. The successful candidate will be creative at solving problems, possess a strong desire to learn, grown, and have fun!

Additional responsibilities may also include:

  • Contribute, and execute, against quarterly sales goals

  • Align with the key influencers, both at Intel, and the customers’ technical and management staff, to understand and satisfy key customer needs

  • Ensure that Intel’s roadmap is aligned with our customers’ long-term requirements by being an internal advocate for their product and support needs

  • Demonstrate teamwork, work effectively in informal, and formal, teams, and with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

  • Demonstrate strong presentation, and communication, skills to present the capabilities of Intel’s product portfolio

  • Prepare required sales forecasts and conduct territory reviews


  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry, in a technical marketing or sales role (ex. technical account manager, account executive, FAE, etc.)

  • Experience in managing/executing growth strategy programs

  • BA/BS degree (BSEE, BSCE, BSCS preferred)

  • Willing to travel

  • Previous experience in a semiconductor related engineering role is a plus

  • Previous experience, or understanding, of FPGA technology is a plus
