Intel Field Sales Engineer (Rockies)- Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) in Boulder, Colorado

Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

-Managing the relationship between Intel and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at accounts.

-Develop relationships with distributors and engage distributor resources in support of assigned accounts.

-Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.

-Ensure that goals are consistent with Intel's strategic direction of: (1) maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and longterm and (2) increasing the preference for Intel architectures among assigned customers.

-Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings and design win quotas in conjunction with the Field Applications Engineer.

-Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination.

-Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.

As an Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Technical Account Manager for the Rockies market, you will leverage your leadership skills, business acumen and technical abilities to achieve growth in Sales, Design Wins, and Customer Loyalty by:

-Positioning Intel Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) solutions to strategic accounts

-Establishing influential executive and engineering relationships

-Identifying opportunities in your account base and uncovering customer needs and decision process to align solutions to make them successful

-Orchestrating winning strategies leveraging Intel PSG technologies and solutions and an extended team of support resources

-Expanding the addressable market by identifying and servicing non-traditional FPGA opportunities

-Creating, maintaining, and executing to written plans at the territory, account and opportunity level

-Working with the field applications and inside sales teams to ensure outstanding technical and logistical support for assigned accounts

-Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity databases as well as sales and design win forecasts

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must Possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5+ years' of relevant sales experience in the semiconductor industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience with FPGAs.
