Component Design and Validation Overview
Moore's Law states that the number of transistors on a given area of silicon will double about every 24 months. As feature sizes become smaller and circuits operate at higher speeds, Intel component design and validation engineers are the ones that design innovative architectures to deliver new levels of performance and energy efficiency.
What You'll Do
The jobs our component design and validation engineers do are anything but routine. These are the people responsible for chip layout, circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation, and validation. Starting with product requirements and logic diagrams, they plan design projects and help address the unique needs of our customers. And, for Intel's senior positions, you'll combine engineering and manufacturing work with management responsibilities. That means every day presents exciting new technical challenges.
