Intel Performance Marketing Engineer in Chandler, Arizona

Job Description

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced individual to build performance measurement infrastructure from the ground up. The individual will be responsible for ensuring that our compute and memory platforms have the best performance and power balance focusing on processors, graphics, storage, and other components. Play a critical role crafting and deploying these technology stories to the consumer, commercial, gaming, professional graphics, and datacenter markets, grounded in data-informed audience and competitive insights.

  • Work cross-functionally to identify, craft and deploy a performance measurement framework including testing methodology and competitive comparisons

  • Collaborate closely with product management and engineering, and drive the collection of data around key technical marketing frameworks

  • Identify the metrics and measurements required to competitively position our offerings

  • Strong analytical & organizational skills

  • Outstanding collaboration and integration with key partners

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, including presenting to executive management teams and influencing partner teams in a global, matrixed organization

  • Ability to prioritize time toward valued outcomes

  • Able to initiate and drive opportunities independently, while operating in an environment that changes quickly

  • High levels of energy, creativity, and enthusiasm with a strong sense of accountability

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience analyzing the semiconductor industry (TSMC, Intel, Samsung) - process, yields, manufacturing capacity, process roadmap with a rigorous architectural understanding with deep insight based on market research.

  • 10+ years of experience working with the PC technology business

  • Deep understanding of PC industry with software programing experience

  • Adept at the use of social media like Twitter from building an online community and evangelization of a technical product and its features to market adoption.

Candidate should have 5+ years of experience with the following:

  • Programming concepts - object orientation, polymorphism, templates, interfaces. Basic knowledge of software design patterns

  • Understanding of PC gaming models and the influence of architectures on performance

  • Understanding of detail storage models and device capabilities

  • Understanding of OS level system calls and operating system fundamentals

  • Capability to develop testing methodologies and documentation

  • Experience with Jira, Git, Gerrit, SVN, VSS software for bug tracking, source and project management
