Then our Visual Technologies Team (VTT) has opportunities for you. In VTT we deliver Intel's 3D graphics, media, display GPU, and Parallel Computing Technology.

At Intel, we have committed delivering first availability of discrete GPUs for a variety of market segments by 2020. As we're ramping up towards our goals, we embrace software as a product approach. We are looking for an expert in 3D and GPU Compute technologies to be a Graphics Software Program Manager within VTT. You get to touch every graphics product coming out of Intel. In this role you will be a team player and shall partner with Product and Program Management to ensure that the full product value and experience is delivered to the market as conceived.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Working collaboratively with our engineering and business partners

  • Understanding the customer requirements and identify gaps or alternative solutions as needed

  • Understanding the needs of the business and can resolve conflicts against the user need

  • Drive the "what" and "why" of your product while partnering with engineering and architecture teams on the "how" and "when"

  • You will be the owner of our 3D and Compute graphics software plans and have the final say on what gets on the roadmap for our software.

  • You will be given hard problems to solve and the autonomy to pick the right path to solve them. You will be empowered to find and fix problems as you see them.

  • Be able to communicate from the executive level down to the front-line engineer as well as out to our customers

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, Software Development or related field Software / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or similar field with 8 years of Industry experience

  • Your experience should be in the following:

  • Experience working with partners and managing cross function relationships

  • Has a strong passion for doing the right thing for the end user while being empathetic to the needs of the team

  • Experience as a software or hardware engineer

  • Experience managing software planning and lifecycle

  • Experience with 3D Graphics and GPU Compute technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a graphics centric field like Video games, Media, or AI/ML

  • Experience with multiple software products from ideation through ship
