Job Description

Intel is seeking to hire a Client Customer Security Engineer to join our Client Computing Group in Folsom, California.

In this position you will on enabling processors for High Volume Manufacturing as it relates to platform and customer readiness. You will drive Engineering and Marketing to set specifications. Participate in all phases of product development from definition through volume production, and eventually cost reduction. Develop key technical collateral including Data Sheets, Specification Update errata, Platform Design Guides, Application Notes, and other collaterals/documentation necessary to close design wins and launch products. Develop plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in CS or Electrical Engineering or related discipline

Demonstrated Familiarity with Intel Platform Architecture and Technologies

  • 3+ years of ASIC Design experience

  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with technical teams to improve design and validation

  • 1+ years of experience in a client facing role providing technical insight to commercial and enterprise customers regarding security

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Bios

  • Security related technologies experience

  • 3+ years of Client Customer/Technical Marketing/Application Engineering
