Job Description

Implement and execute in house employee communication programs and employee events including planning and organizing employee newsletters, in house publication and surveys. Also includes implementing and publicizing employee functions and celebrations including business update meetings, open forums, and award ceremonies. Requires interaction with local public officials and senior managers as well as strong program management skills.

Qualifications

This position is part of the Folsom Excellence team and include both communications and program/event management in support of activities that the team puts on. Writing assignments include weekly newsletter, feature articles, blog posts, etc. Candidate should be prepared to develop overall communications strategy in support of specific events to ensure maximum participation and awareness. Should have experience in business writing and communications. Experience with creating and editing video segments is a plus.
