Intel Contract-Risk Manager in Folsom, California

Job Description

The individual will be responsible for being a point of contact for a Human Resources/Employee Services Operations (HRES) and building operational business acumen. Have strong stakeholder management, be a trusted advisor, provide efficiency, structure and guidance for risk. Perform various risk services that help our business partners meet their business objectives for the HRES organizations. Risk Services include, but are not limited to:

1) Controls: Design and establish the right level of controls, and perform control validations

2) Operational Risk Mapping based on Business Process Management Landscape

3) Risk Assessments for projects and processes

4) Business Continuity guidance to the operations Business Continuity Champions

5) Provide guidance how to navigate in areas for (but not limited to): Information Security, business partners' compliance to Policies & Procedures, Data Privacy


Controls strategies and assessment methodologies to perform Risk Mapping, Risk Assessments, and assess the right level of controls; must have proven record of having the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment and deal well with ambiguity. Willingness to be trained and obtain acumen around being compliant with policies and procedures, control validations, articulating Risk Services to business partners, understanding risk services tools, and building business acumen from customers. Risk Management and/or Finance required; professional certification is desired but not required.


At least 6 years of Risk and/or Finance experience required. Must be willing to be a 'global' partner. Strong stakeholder management; ability to deal well with ambiguity; ask questions; follow through, apply reason and logic. High communication and collaboration inside and outside the team. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal English communication skills that are critical to clearly articulating issues, resolution, and recommendations to employees, management and partnering organizations. Proficient at Excel and PowerPoint. Be a self-starter by using, SharePoint and the internet for acumen, MS Office Suite, tools and information necessary to aid in performing job duties. This individual must be self-motivated and highly efficient at working independently.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or Finance

6 years in Finance or Risk Management experience
