Intel Discrete Graphics Product Manager in Folsom, California

Job Description

Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Visual Product Management and Strategic Planning Team as a Discrete Graphics Product Manager!

Be a part of the Intel's Visual Technologies Team and be at the center of defining future discrete graphics products. In the role of Graphics Product Management, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Lead the product definition, product value prop, success criteria and positioning throughout the product lifecycle ensuring the final delivered product matches original vision

  • Define the markets of interest, set financial guidelines and drive cross disciplinary teams in the definition, tradeoff analysis, and convergence of next generation solutions which deliver a sustainable competitive advantage.

  • Defining and driving the long range strategy for high-performance graphics to ensure Intel solutions deliver best in class capabilities across a wide range of new usages.

  • Monitoring industry, customer, "inside Intel" and technology trends in graphics and forecasting these forward to ensure optimal intersection of key technologies

  • Identifying risks, mitigations and contingencies associated with roadmap and develop a cohesive competitive positioning strategy

Qualifications

You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with more than five years of experience in product management, technical marketing or architecture in a related field. Additional qualifications include:

  • Industry knowledge of product evolution trends, success factors and competitive forces in high-performance graphics

  • Technical awareness of graphics architecture, technologies and market trends

  • Ability to take a disciplined approach to problem solving and be results oriented

  • Ability to resolve issues at strategic cross-organizational and management levels

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to synthesize complex issues and present clear choices to management

  • Strong marketing and program management skills

  • Strong initiative and persistence

The Core and Visual Computing Group (CVCG) is responsible for the architecture, design and development of the CPU core and visual technology IPs that are central to Intel's system-on-a-chip (SoC) products and key to our datacenter, client and Internet-of-Things (IOT) platforms.
