Intel Experienced Performance, Power Thermal Validation in Folsom, California

Job Description

We are looking for someone passionate and interested in working in one of Intel's fastest growing segment. In this position, you will be supporting the team responsible for performance, power, and thermal (PPT) analysis for Intel SSDs (Solid-state Drive).

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble HW/System, Flash BIOS, Firmware.

  • Install/Boot/Configure/Assemble CRB platforms per documentation.

  • Installing operating systems and other needed applications. Basic trouble shooting skills (appropriate response to error messages) related to setup and installation.

  • General mother board components/PC level basic knowledge.

  • Basic understanding of features and differences between platforms and/or products.

  • Installation and replacement of basic hardware and PC components.

  • Installation, configuration and use of 3rd party applications S/W as called out in test suites.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a technical certification, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Technology or any other science related field; or equivalent experience and proven track record in a lab environment.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Validating SSDs

-Proven working experience in lab and production environment on a daily basis, and balancing multiple priorities effectively.

-Proven working experience in a fast-pace environment with multiple sources of inputs and requests.
