Job Description

BigCore Microcode Validation team in Folsom is looking for an experienced validation engineer to work on developing Intel's future cutting edge core IPs. Responsibilities include the validation planning, test environment and test content development to verify adherence of the design to requirements and specifications. Ability to perform failure debug, coverage analysis, and content tuning to target complex scenarios on multiple validation platforms microcode, fullchip, emulation is also required.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • M.Sc. or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer science

  • 2+ years of pre-Silicon design validation or software verification experience

  • Good understanding of CPU architecture

  • Good programming skills C/C++/Perl/Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In depth knowledge of Intel Architecture X86

  • Experience with low level programming assembly

  • Previous experience with embedded
