Then our Visual and Parallel Computing Group (VPG) has opportunities for you. VPG delivers Intel's 3D graphics, media, display GPU, and Parallel Computing Technology. The Hardware Engineering team is within VPG is responsible for delivering 3D, media, compute, and display components as the integrated graphics inside Intel's processor. We are looking for a Graphics Performance Engineer to join our team and who is ready to make significant impact in the graphics and visual computing.

In this position, you will be supporting the Intel Graphics Hardware team with Performance and Power consumption data and analysis across different graphics products. You will work in a cross-team environment and analyze performance, power, and quality in different architectures based on different silicon process technologies.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors or Master Degree in Computer Science , Electrical Engineering or other related field with 2+ years of experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in:

  • Scripting languages such as C++, Python, Perl.

  • Performance bench marking and analysis.


Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience in Performance and Power data collection, analysis and presentation

  • Good understanding of software testing and test methodology - functional, integration, regression, performance testing

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal communication

  • At a Bachelors level ap licants must be U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position

  • This is an entry level position and will be paid accordingly.
