Intel Graphics Hardware Verification Engineer in Folsom, California
Are you passionate about computer graphics? Working with leading graphics Hardware engineers on Intel's latest GPU/CPU architecture? If so, then our Visual Technologies Team Group (VTT) has opportunities for you. VTT delivers Intel's 3D graphics, media, display GPU, and Parallel Computing Technology. This position entails pre-silicon validation of Intel graphics cores. You will ensure platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components. Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the performance.
You will help us with the following responsibilities:
Build and developing validation test plans and test scenarios to prove the correctness of the design
Development of validation components for a simulation based environment, bus functional models, trackers, checkers, scoreboards, and testbenches
Building and delivery of an RTL model of the design- Performing and debugging simulations
Development of functional coverage and achieving coverage goals- Identifying and driving to closure of bugs
Developing methodologies and capabilities, and driving process improvements
Working closely with design engineers, micro-architects, and other team members to ensure high quality of test plans, functional coverage, and tests
Ability to deliver high-quality output against deadlines and able to work effectively in a cross-site team environment

Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree is preferred with 2 years of experience. Experience should be in the following areas:
Proven background in logic design, architecture, and logic verification
Hands on experience with coding and developing testbench components like BFM's, Monitors and Checkers/Scoreboards.
Good understanding of overall Validation flows & tools
Strong background in Pre-Si validation, Verilog, System Verilog and verification methodologies
Experience with programming / scripting languages like C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python
Skills pertaining to logic design and validation, including expertise in VCS simulator, Functional coverage concepts and implementation, Testbench development, bus functional models, trackers, checkers, test development, execution, and debug.
Familiarity with the ASIC design flow and working knowledge of 3D Graphics is a plus
Familiarity/experience with Formal Property Verification flows/tools
Knowledge of Cache based designs & Cache Coherency flows is a huge plus
Experience with Perl, Shell scripting, Makefiles, TCL a plus
Very strong background in logic verification with a good understanding of logic design concepts
Knowledge & experience in RTL Verification Methodology and Design
