Intel InfoSec Cyber Intelligence Data Analyst in Folsom, California

Job Description

On this position your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide expertise on database management/design to drive integration of business data, functions, and systems.

  • Establish standards, guidelines, procedures, and other infrastructure necessary to support the objective of integration of data.

  • Resolve performance problems.

  • Plan and schedule daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.

  • The Cyber Intelligence Data Analyst will assume Technology Knowledge Object management responsibilities and will apply and enforce file and attribute standards.

  • Analyst will forecast data capacity requirements and analyze data utilization trends that drive TCO.

  • This technologist will help define data on-boarding and integration processes for Kafka and will need to also be proficient in Splunk Technology Add-On development.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems or any other related area.

  • 5+ Experience in Java, Python, R, Kafka, Splunk applied to Information Security.

  • GSEC and CISSP certifications are required.

  • Analytics development experience in developing reports, visualizations, queries, dashboards.

  • Machine learning development experience desired.
