As a Data Engineer at Intel Corp, you are a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and growing our capabilities for extracting new insights from our expanding data streams.
You will collaborate with various roles and teams across the enterprise to design and implement systems to extract data and insights from, Intel's Manufacturing- Capacity and Supply Chain Planning and engineering systems, transforming it into an actionable insight, and as needed, creating dynamic presentation layers for use by high-level engineers and managers throughout the company.
You will apply mathematics, statistics, advanced analytics and optimization modeling to find patterns and relationships in data to help optimize inventory, material, and create supply strategies.
Successful candidates apply modeling and other methods to gather and interpret data and to recommend new procedures and processes; conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify areas of opportunity to further optimize Intel's supply chain from wafer starts through customer fulfillment.
Responsibilities and Tasks also include.:
Design, develop, code, test, enhance and debug, stored procedures, SSIS packages and data flows.
Participate in design, development, and deployment of Data Warehouse data models.
Troubleshoot operational escalations and resolve business partner issues in a timely manner with strong collaboration and care for business priorities.
Document existing and new work performed.
Requires in-depth knowledge of supply chain management and a Degree in a specialized or intellectual field of study such as engineering, computer science or a related field.
5 years of strong development/coding experience working with relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, SSIS)
1-2 years' experience with Tableau/SSRS/PowerBI
1 year experience with Python/R
Exposure to NoSQL databases a plus
