Job Description

In this position the candidate will work as an intern with the NVM component architecture team with NSG.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Will build component model to enable various emulation and simulation teams across Intel.

  • Also will be required to comprehend memory controller and system protocols to develop a comprehensive component model..

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through school work, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/ or work experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Minimum 6+ months of experience in the following:

  • Expertise in Verilog and Very High Level Design Language VHDL.

  • Expertise in C/C++ programming, System C, Perl, Python.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge / experience in:

  • Ability to build emulation models from Register Transfer Level RTL using internal and/or vendor tools.

  • Familiarity with Intel platform CPU/Chipset/SSD architecture and/or micro-architecture would be an added advantage.
