Job Description

We are looking for a superstar Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic data center SSD product marketing team in the Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group's (NSG) Strategic Planning, Marketing and Business Development (SMB) org.

The Datacenter Strategic Planning and Marketing team develops and delivers the business strategies, defines the product roadmaps, and executes product and technical marketing for all Sold State Drives (SSDs) sold into the datacenter market segment. This team has been uniquely structured to own and lead the product line from definition thru the go to market activities true cradle to grave segment and product line management.

The Product Marketing Manager is highly a visible and impactful role with more scope than traditional PMEs. You will work with OEM and End User customers, NSG’s engineering organization, and teams across Intel (primarily DCG) to define Intel’s next generation SSD strategies and products, and to influence how SSD solutions are deployed in server and storage platforms. In addition you have the opportunity to shape the industry adoption of SSD technology. Day to day activities will include running product POPs, representing marketing in the PDT, executing Product Launches, and aligning to and supporting other Intel product groups.

  • A Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar discipline or an undergraduate in Business Management / Marketing disciplines with emphasis technical/engineering fields; MBA and/or advanced technical degree a plus

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant combined experience in marketing, engineering, or strategic planning

  • 3+ years’ of experience with HW and SW trends within data centers related to some of the following: Big Data, HPC, Content Delivery, OLTP, Private vs Public Cloud, SAN Storage

  • 3+ years’ of experience in SSDs and or HDDs, SAS / SATA, Fiber Channel, or PCIe storage components, RAID controllers, HBAs, Expanders, JBODs strongly preferred

  • 3+ years’ of experience with Server and Storage System hardware architectures, driver stacks, configurations to optimize performance, and system level trade-offs preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Intel Strategic Planning with knowledge of the POP process and how to successfully drive it to completion preferred

  • Intel product launch experience preferred
